The second of the Golden Triangle of Art Museums in Madrid, the Sofia focuses on 20th century art. There was no photography permitted in much of the museum, particularly in the sections hosting a fairly large collection of Dali and Picasso. They also hosted an amazing collection of propaganda art (posters, magazines, etc.) from WWII and the Franco years. I couldn’t photograph any of that. So this post will just be a few photos, and mostly showcase the unique architecture of the building itself. (Plus I’m majorly behind on blog posts so I need to shorten a few of these up lol)
